Ringkasan Kegiatan

It is an obligation of the State to manage natural resources in Indonesia within the scope of enhancement of welfare of people of Indonesia. Such a statement is mentioned by Article 33.3 Constitution 1945 as earth, water and natural resources contained therein are possessed by the state and utilized for the greatest benefit of the people. In order to realized such statement, Government of Indonesia (GoI) enacted Act no. 5 year 1960 regarding Agrarian Principles as the basis of management of natural resources in Indonesia. Article 2 of Agrarian Principles Act states that earth, water and space, which are considered as gifts from God to Indonesia as a nation, is possessed by the State. Through this study, Surveying and Cadastre Research Division, in cooperation with Centre for Agrarian Researches and Directorate of Infrastructure of Institut Teknologi Bandung, has been working on the identification of social-spatial characteristic of locations in which ITB’s assets are located. This study comprised of five phases, which combined social and engineering research methodology within each phase.
