.Bandung Annual Report: Re-Imagining Numbers The number become a critical issue within boundaries of understanding on art in one side and science and technology in the other side. The stereotypical assumption about art is an unpredictable and intuitively constructed process while science is predictable and logically formulated procedure. This assumption is an intolerant and a misguide conclusion about art and science connection in recent technological driven society. The advance of technological interface in today contemporary life are more becoming flexible and intuitively experienced. Technological discoveries become artistry advancement. On the other side, the art expression become more firmly understood as a science of judgment in its operative struggling process. The art making elaborate some hidden calculations in every operative logic and construction process by reimagining the function of numbers as sign of the quality. Presentation of the artworks in this exhibition show articulated issues on (i) the assemblage of site and sight, (ii) articulation of the expression and calculation, and (iii) re-imagining the coupling of possibilities.
