This project about making pilot scale prototype poly-dryer for super absorbent polymer based. This dryer be used for drying harvested products. This project includes the drying method and design of a dryer using super absorbent polymers. This poly-dryer consists of a piping system, blower blast, absorbance column, heating chamber, drying chamber and suction blower to improve the effectiveness of the drying carried out The main principle of drying with SAP is to utilize the flow of dry air produced from the surrounding air. Processing of the surrounding air into dry air is done by absorbing the water content contained in the air with SAP and heating it to a temperature of 50 ̊C. This dry air is contacted with the material to be dried through a chamber in which there is a rack where the materials to be dried are placed. Furthermore, the air that has been used is discharged into the environment. The above objectives can be obtained with equipment whose composition of components is as follows: 1. Blower Blast; 2. Piping System; 3. Absorbance Column; 4. Heating Chamber; 5. Drying Chamber.

Post-harvest handling of agricultural products often faces preservation problems. One of the obstacles is the presence of sunlight needed for heating. Therefore, during the rainy season, some agricultural products / products often decompose so that they cannot be utilized to the full. Some of the solutions that have been offered include the use of heaters or ovens. However, the heater and oven need energy to produce heat. The energy needs in the implementation are less economical. Therefore, it requires the drying process of agricultural products / products at low temperatures so as not to damage nutrients and operate at a low cost. The motivation for this innovation is to help preserve agricultural products and medicines in a cheap and easy way by utilizing the Polymer and Membrane Technology Laboratory products.
