The presence of the Astronomical Almanac can answer a number of ambiguous information circulating in the community, as well as being a valid reference for researchers related to the field of astronomy. One of the objectives of the Astronomical Almanac is to serve as a role in Indonesian astronomy by adhering to a standard framework of scientific procedures. Learning from the previous work, this edition is generated from calculations (at least in part) using formulas related to the basics of astronomy and some open and free astronomical computing libraries and softwares, so that it can be more customized and ensure data homogeneity. While general data and information is collected and compiled from various leading and trusted astronomical websites. Public and researchers related to the field of astronomy can access the corresponding website to obtain valid information from the trusted source. There are several sections in the Astronomical Almanac 2021. The beginning section contains general information, followed by sections related to the Sun, planets, the Moon, and at the end is glossary. This work serves as a supporting experience for developing a system that is easier and faster to develop an annual Astronomical Almanac in the future.

The need for guidance and information related to astronomy has become fundamental and important in many countries. The astronomical information is known as the Astronomical Almanac. The trusted source for guidance and information should be provided in the field of astronomy. For this reason, since three years ago, realization of valid and reliable guidelines of astronomy-related information has been established. The Indonesian Astronomical Almanac 2021 is an astronomical guidance and information for year 2021.
