Biennial International Group Theory Conference (BIGTC) is a conference held every two years. The 5th Biennial Group Theory Conference 2019 be held in Institut Teknologi Bandung, Indonesia on 1-4 July 2019. This event is organized under Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Institut Teknologi Bandung, Indonesia in collaboration with Ferdowsi University Of Mashhad Iran and Indonesian Algebra Society (IAS). The aim of this conference is to exchange the research ideas among the group theorists and postgraduate students. In addition, specialists in the subject of group theory can present their latest research works and encourage the interested students to progress and widen their knowledge in group theory. Some topics of interest are group theory, representation of finite groups and application of group in experimental design, coding theory and algebraic combinatorics. The conference stimulate a good research atmosphere in Southeast Asia and Indonesia in particular. It can also stimulate an improvement of the quality of our undergraduate and postgraduate programs. This conference provides an opportunity to meet outstanding speakers/researchers from other countries. This opportunity is very rare and expensive to happen in Indonesia. This opportunity is very likely to induce further and new directions of research. Several natural new linkages and cooperation will occur.
