Community Service Program is an activity of empowerment and improving the quality of community resources that are directed to create jobs and business independently through a business activity so that people's income increases. Putra Saluyu Farmers Group in Nagarawangi village Rancakalong District of Sumedang Regency is a group of farmers engaged in farming activities and agro-processing. The main activity is cultivated Cilembu sweet potato. As many as 15-30% of the yield of sweet potato has low quality and is called the "dongdot" sweet potato and generally underused. Economically value dongdot sweet potatoes are low with an average price of IDR 500 - IDR 1000 per kgs, much lower than the price of Cilembu sweet potato with good quality (IDR 5,000 - IDR 8,000 per kgs). To increase the value-added of dongdot sweet potato can be done through to process it into sweet potato flour and starch. In addition, sweet potato flour and starch can stored more durable and have high nutrient content, particularly as a source of carbohydrates and vitamin A. Processing of dongdot sweet potato into flour and starch can be expected to increase the revenue of the member of Putra Saluyu farmers group. Through the training activities, the member of Putra Saluyu farmers group was able to make sweet potato flour and starch products, either by wet or dry method. Sweet potato flour and starch is the raw materials which can be made into a wide variety of processed products that have a relatively high economic value. These products have started to offer to the market, either directly to consumers or to the food industries. The sweet potato flour and starch produced by the members of the group were analyzed to determine the nutritional composition. From the analysis, it is known that sweet potato flour has a different nutrient content compared with sweet potato starch. The sweet potato flour has a richer nutritional value than starch. Sweet potato flour contain the fiber (2.55%) which are higher than the starch (0.04%), and total sugar (0.46%). The products derived from the utilization of dongdot sweet potato has high economical-value. Supported by knowledge of business management, it is expected that members of the group have a new source of income, so that the income of each member will increase.
