The Indonesian batik industry is a very important industry, both from a historical and economic perspective and must be supported and protected. However, an industry must still influence to the environment, especially in its waste. One of the processes carried out in making batik and can affect the environment is the coloring of batik. Direct removal of the remaining dyes from the batik industry not only causes pollution to the environment, but also social problems. For this reason, the batik industry needs to be assisted to process the remaining waste staining, so that its disposal does not result in pollution and social problems. Through its teaching and research activities, KK FPHSB has developed techniques for processing the residual dyes of the textile industry through a process. This technology is relatively inexpensive and easy to operate, making it suitable for use in the batik industry.
