Ringkasan Kegiatan

In underground mining operation, occupational health and environment (K3L) operations are the main priors in carrying out mining activities so that a standard is needed to prevent accidents affecting workers, work equipment, and facilities from the risk of rock collapse (Ground Fall) in the mine. These standard are included in the Ground Control Management Plan (GCMP) system. All underground mine operation must meet the requirements stated in the GCMP. The GCMP is based on Geotechnical studies, Mine Planning, and Mining Operations, as well as mining practices (best mining practices). The scope of the GCMP document is underground mine opening management which contain responsibility and competency of all worker which directly involve in GCMP, geotechnical risk potential, controlling mechanism and system quality assurance. The development of GCMP document begins with visiting underground mines in Indonesia and conducting interviews and discussions regarding the Ground Control Management Plan (GCMP) draft and refining it based on input from underground mining practices at the mines visited.
