Ringkasan Kegiatan

Development of Electromagnetic Time Domain Method (TDEM) Modeling Program for Monitoring CO2 Injection Below the Surface of the Earth. The technology of earth exploration with electromagnetic methods has developed very rapidly since the last few decades. This method is able to provide a fairly good picture of subsurface conditions, based on the distribution of the electrical properties and magnetism of the constituent rocks of the earth. TDEM (time-domain electromagnetic) or also called TEM (transient electromagnetic) is one of the electromagnetic methods in the time domain that measures transient voltage decay as a function of time. In this study, several 1-D inversion schemes which includes Monte Carlo sampling, simulated annealing (SA), and singular value decomposition (SVD) are examined for the TDEM Data inversion. Results indicate that the simulated annealing method gives the most satisfactory results in terms of processing speed and accuracy.
