Ringkasan Kegiatan

Basically to increase work productivity ITB has already carried out health tests through laboratory tests for faculty and staff. However, the test has not yet described the condition of overall health because laboratory testing alone does not describe the degree of physical fitness, while the better the degree of physical fitness of a person the better the health status condition. Physical fitness tests will illustrate the degree profile of health and physical fitness. If the profile is good, the body's ability to perform activities will not experience significant fatigue, and can do daily work optimally. Conversely, if the profile is low, the person can be categorized as one who will be easily tired and his or her performance will not be optimal. Therefore a program of physical fitness tests Rockport needs to be carried out. To measure the level of physical fitness suitable for the faculty and staff of ITB is testing Rock Port which is a physical test that uses physical activity goes as far 1,6km. This test does not provide a high stress on the joints, safe for the middle-aged, the elderly, and those who are less active in physical activities. The team in this activity include 3 lecturers who are experts in the field of sport science, 1 professor nutritionist and nutrition, and 6 students of Master of Science in Sport ITB consisting of 1 doctor and 5 people health sport coach.Profile health status and physical fitness can be used as initial data for the relevant parties to maintain and improve the productivity of work. The UPT Sports of ITB is one of the institutions that provide services and health sports training to faculty and staff and the general public around ITB.
