Ringkasan Kegiatan

Energy scarcity in rural area have been a major hindrance in completing the national development goals. This problem, coupled with the high ration of energy cost-to-monthly incomes for many rural family have also heavily limited the rural family ability to completely fulfil their daily requirements of energy (in form of electricity or heat for cooking). The aim in this community development program is to develop a prototype for integrated rural biogas production and delivery system. Using this technology, it would be possible for farmer and non-farmer to build biogas production system and to make the biogas produced available for the community. The biogas delivery system is powered by a low energy gas pump which provide adequate gas pressure and flow to the gas burner stove. The reactor and the gas collection bag is equipped with two emergency pressure valve which will maintain the maximum pressure in the reactor and collection bag not to exceed 1.5 atm, hence reducing the risk of blowout due to pressure build-up.
