Waste from commercial farms and poultry farms are the source of organic and inorganic pollutants in surface water and ground water. The remnants of manure contain high dissolved oxygen, nitrogene, phosphorus, and often contain pathogenic organisms. Livestock wastes such as manure and food leftovers need special handling. Ruminants livestock waste produces high methane gas . This methane gas is one of the other gas that significantly contribute to global warming and ozone destruction. If the manure is processed into biogas, the methane gas generated will be useful for alternative energy sources. Exploiting the potential of manure is included in to the concept of cleaner production strategies as retrieve to energy. Therefore, this research tested the potential use of animal manure in the Dago Atas Ranch. Livestock waste tested were cattle manure, sheep manure, and a mixture of both cattle manure and sheep manure to be used as raw material for making biogas
