Ringkasan Kegiatan

This community service activity is carried out in the form of training and exhibitions for vocational or equivalent students. Participants can take the final test and will be given a certificate if they pass the test, which may be useful for these students to become entrepreneurs in solar cell installation and maintenance after graduation. This activity was shifted to October / November as a result of the impact of the PSBB and WFH / SFH conditions from the Covid-19 pandemic. The activity is currently still in the preparation stage of equipment and training modules. Apart from the fact that some of the solar cell components used still have to be imported from abroad, making it difficult to get a decent profit in this PLTS. However, with the mass production of solar cells carried out by the solar panel industry in China, the price of solar cells has decreased considerably compared to 10 years ago. In addition, solar cell panels for household sizes to small offices can easily be purchased on the general market. The conditions for using this standalone PLTS are increasingly open because of the use of lighting that has switched to LEDs.

Testimoni Masyarakat

The use of solar cells as alternative energy is being increasingly encouraged at this time considering the difficulty of finding new oil reserves. In accordance with the 2006-2025 national energy management blueprint (PEN), the use of solar cells together with other renewable energy (EBT) is targeted by 2025 to reach 5%. For the use of solar energy itself, the target is 400 MW, even though this realization is full of challenges because not many private energy industries are interested in building solar power plants (PLTS).
