Activity held during the event was animal tagging on Lesser Adjutant (Leptoptilos javanicus). Lesser Adjutant are monomorphism which makes it nearly impossible to recognize every individuals. Therefore, animal tagging could hopefully tackle the issue during monitoring and research activities. The tag was built from stainless steel, with a unique code number carved for each individuals. It was installed on the Lesserǯs leg. There were several general phases within the tagging acitivity: (1) tag design; (2) trial phase: prototype tag was installed on Otong (i.e. Individual for animal show); (3) tag installment phase for 13 lesser individuals. The tags were designed specifically to identify researchers or individuals in substantially easier way. They could could be applied to another water bird species with or without adjustment in the dimension. We have carried out several community services in Bazoga. This includes exploring the potential uses of existing tree species, as well as identifying unique characteristics of tree species. We have also placed identifying markers on the Tongtong storks in Bazoga. We have also made a draft on our exploration book.
