Autism derived from the word autos, which means self and an ism that is a credo. This would mean that autism is a condition that led the children to have attention only to their own world. Autism is category for disability, marked by disruption in the comunication, social interaction, sensory distrubances, play patterns, and emotion behavior. The cause of autism in children are disorders on growth and central sensory function which caused the disturbances in the brain function, espicially the function which controls the mind; the ability to comprehen and comunicate with other people. Some autistic children have good drawing ability. They can draw objects that interest them personally, for example an autistic child is capable to draw television channels logo preciselly. Autistic teenagers have the ability to create expressive painting and comic book well. This activity will design a method to teach drawing for autistic children that is artistically talented. Through a special teaching method, autistic children are expected to optimize their drawing ability (artistic talent) despite the limitation of their emotion and intelligence level. Based on field research, it can be seen that participative method is the most appropriate teaching method to motivate autistic children in developing their ability to draw.
