Ringkasan Kegiatan

Entering industry 4.0, Internet of Things (IoT) will need to interconnect almost everything into the internet and bring important information to be processed for human interest. High-capacity and spectrum-efficient networks to support larger number of users, devices, machines, which leads to the so called Internet of Things (IoT) are needed in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN). LEACH method is one of the popular cluster protocols to form a network topology in WSN. It creates clusters randomly based on the rotation of the eligible sensor to balance the load of the network. However, the network topology created with LEACH puts the cluster head in a random position, even in the cluster border as shown in Fig. 1 (a). It generates non-optimal topology as the cluster member will transmit with high power. To improve it, one of the methods used is to form a layering of the cluster in LEACH.
