Competition between agricultural commodities and SME products in West Java – JABODETABEK and foreign products is starting to get stronger as a result of unpreparedness in welcoming the era of Liberalization, Globalization, and Digitization of the economy (online tools). Globalization has the effect of increasing competition between our products and our workforce and foreigners. Not only is our domestic market threatened by the invasion of cheaper imported products (through advances in digital-online selling technology) but also the loss of export opportunities due to competition from other countries' production which is cheaper and of higher quality. Marketing strategies of developing countries such as Indonesia cannot be equated with the strategies of developed countries that work with large economies of scale and are well standardized with lower selling prices (Sheth, 2011). Agricultural commodities and other products are produced by themselves in the form of SMEs or agriculture with limited land, so it is not surprising that the commodities produced are varied, not well stocked, with small-scale production, resulting in a high-cost economy and unable to compete. Unpreparedness for globalization has resulted in widening income disparities, and access to economic opportunities between various groups in society, as well as between different regions and between large, medium, and small companies.
