With the advancement of technology, various practical needs of navigation and time markers have been very much fulfilled by equipment such as clocks, compasses, GPS, and others. This causes a decrease in the practical dependence of humans on the sky. Moreover, the increase in light pollution, especially in big cities, causes people to see stars less frequently. In general, people rarely look up to the sky to see astronomical objects and phenomena, and fewer people have either astronomical-based natural wisdom or inspiration by the beauty of the sky for cultural refinement. This program aims to reintroduce the richness of traditional culture based on astronomy and enhance the scientific understanding of the Earth-Moon-Sun relationship by utilizing an astronomical events of Annular Solar Eclipse which occured on 26 December 2019 at Tanjungpinang City as the focus of attention and meeting place.
