Ringkasan Kegiatan

Preliminary study on mid-performance glider were conducted since 2013. Estimation of GL-1 aerodynamic characteristics and performances, structural strength and design, has been explored throughout 2016 to 2019. A half scale prototype called BL-1 was built in 2016 in, held wing static test in 2016 and flight test at April 2017 and May 2017. Previous research shows that EASA CS-22 is the most suitable regulation for sailplane design. To continue the development and achieve 2019 flight test, design of the internal configuration, especially in cockpit and control mechanism, will be needed. This research continue previous GL-1 research for internal design. Previously, fuselage and cockpit have been designed, and with fuselage airframe have been build. It is planned remaining airframe (wing and tail) will be finished in 2019 and control mechanism can be implemented. 1. Evaluate relevant to wing control mechanism design 2. Study control mechanism on similar aircraft 3. Choose Wing control mechanism for GL-1 4. Detailing control mechanism design 5. Implementation on GL-1 full scale construction
