Metro Kapsul are expected to be public transportation that can save time for commuters, especially in big cities where time is very valuable. Before it can operate, a series of technical analysis is needed to ensure the feasibility and safety of the vehicle. One of them is bogie kinematics and dynamics analysis and two crucial parts to be analysed are the knuckle plate and tie rod of the train. The research begins with a study of literature, discussion, collection of vehicle specification data from PT. Teknik Rekayasa Kereta Kapsul, and formulation of cases of metrocapsule movements. From the formulation of the case movement, mathematical calculations are carried out and also measured graphically. In this study, the input variable is the angle and length of plate A and plate B (plate connected with knuckle), and the output variable is the left wheel angle, right wheel angle, and also the turning radius formed. It is hoped that this research will continue to calculate the age of the wheel due to friction on the sharpest turns. The forces acting on each component of Metro Kapsul when it travels along corners are calculated using UIC Code 615-4 standard. Then by using the forces calculated, the knuckle plate strength analysis is conducted using ANSYS with Finite Element Method based on UIC Code 615-4 and PM 175 2015. First, the movement phases of Metro Kapsul to be analysed is defined. Three movement phases are observed in this analysis. The first being the phase based on UIC Code 615-4 where the train is stationary, the second is when the train is about to enter a corner, and the third is when the train is cornering and there are no movement of components relative to each other.
