This community service activity is the design and manufacture of prototypes of tents for refugee camps that can function as family shelter, community shelter, emergency schools, emergency clinics and others. This activity to support the ITB LPPM activity and Salman's charity house in a disaster management program that is usually done during the disaster and the establishment of the Task Force, as did when the earthquake in Lombok and Palu, where at that time the abdimas chairman participated as part of the Task Force ITB for Lombok and Palu. The proposal of this activity is the prototype of the lattice structure shelter with iron material that is easily disassembled which can later be used by LPPM ITB and the Salman charity house as a shelter or post in the disaster area. The planned tent structure is a knock-down tent structure that is easily dismantled Based on Lattice structure. The structure of Lattica is chosen because this structure is formed by rods that are much shorter than the stream of structures that can be achieved. Shorter stems greatly benefit in transportation, which will be easier and cheap. The tent structure of Lattice also has a number of stems and connections with many looping with very little variations. These characteristics will make mass production of components and connections will be cheaper. In addition, the process of establishing tents is also easier and if there are stem components and damaged connections, the replacement also becomes much easier. The Lattice tent structure works as a single-related system with another. This structure has a greater tolerance in the failure of the structure due to the failure of its elements.
