Activity Summary

Community Service Activities carried out by the Bandung Institute of Technology Institute in the form of KKN 2023 activities with one of the themes carried is the reconstruction of the An-Nur Mosque in Margamukti Village, Margawati Hamlet, Cimarga Village, Cisitu District, Sumedang Regency is an initiative Collaborative to strengthen social, religious, and local development ties. This activity aims to facilitate the construction of mosques as a center for religious activities, education, and prosperity for the people of Kampung Margamukti. Because in addition to being a place of worship, the construction of the mosque is also a center for religious education, skills development, and a gathering place for the surrounding community.

Students/I KKN acts as a facilitator, drive, and communication connector between various related parties. They not only bring knowledge and skills from their academics, but also the ability to interact effectively with local communities. The method used in this reconstruction includes a survey of local needs, identifying previous building construction problems, designing mosque design, coordinating with the local community, as well as the involvement of local residents in its construction.

The active role of KKN students is not only limited to technical aspects physical development, but also involves them in the education of the surrounding community related to landslide mitigation, routine exercise, maintenance and sustainability of the mosque itself, and the use of the mosque as an inclusive community activity center.

Through direct involvement in daily activities , KKN students build leadership skills, adaptability, and sensitivity to the needs and dynamics of local communities. Thus, the role of KKN students not only reconstructs mosque buildings in physical form, but also creates strong emotional bonds and strong involvement between universities, students, and the community in sustainable development efforts.



Target

Train students identify problems in the community that can be solved through solutions based on knowledge and knowledge gained on campus; Provide experiences and opportunities for students to interact, live, and manage programs in the community; reconstructing An Nur Mosque for the creation of a decent and comfortable public facility for residents
