ITB as a Multicampus must pay attention to the advancement of science and technology around it, especially on the Cirebon campus which was just inaugurated in early 2022. Cirebon (Figure 1) is an industrial area that is famous Islam, and also as a center for rattan and batik crafts.
With the development of Cirebon, the economy also developed. This is reflected in various aspects, which if collected, will produce quite a lot of historical data. Although KK Statistics FMIPA - ITB does not have a special program in Cirebon, we will help the community to be skilled in data processing through the 'literate' program. In addition, from the field of education, the Faculty of Industrial Engineering (FTI) also runs interdisciplinary engineering projects and Craft. Because standing on two legs responsible on two campuses (Bandung and Cirebon), the Statistics KK will assist FTI in developing this program. Provide additional training for students to help develop data analysis.
Rural level government training in the basic skills of organizational data processing and statistics; Strengthening the role of ITB in helping the government understand the real situation they are facing; Give students in real world experience in applying basic statistics when faced with data around them.
Benefits for KK Statistics/FMIPA/ITB: - Provide opportunities for lecturers and students to be involved in community service. - Expanding the network with local parties in the Multikampus ITB environment.
