BackgroundStunting is one of the conditions of a long disease that has been the focus of the attention of the Indonesian Ministry of Health. In fact, according to WHO, it is almost 1-3 children in Indonesia experiencing stunting. This condition causes the need for education to the public regarding stunting as a prevention of increasing stunting numbers. One area that still experienced a stunting incident was Tanjungsari Village, Tasikmalaya Regency. Within one year there are still 25 children who experience stunting.Objective to introduce stunting to the people of Tanjungsari Village with the SAKUMETHod book of community service activities to be carried out in stages. The first stage of education was conducted to Posyandu cadres with a child specialist speaker. The second stage of education to residents through a pocket book. Activities followed by 40 cadres from 7 posyandu. Pocket books are given to pregnant women, nursing mothers, young women, and women of childbearing age. On the final page of the book there are questions that must be filled. Result there are 191 people who receive education through pocket books. Of the total people as many as 43% get a score above average for stunting knowledge questions. A total of 84% of the community expressed that stunting was a serious problem and needed to be prevented. A total of 81% of the community stated trying to meet nutritional needs and maintain cleanliness. A total of 81% of the people expressed understood to monitor children's growth regularly.
