Small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) have a major role in business activities and create private sector jobs in this country. MSMEs are important sources of economic development. But many obstacles that cause MSMEs do not last long because of the weak capital of human sources caused by a lack of knowledge. The need to increase the competitiveness of MSMEs is very important but, MSMEs are usually vulnerable and not strong enough to resist the onslaught of global economic competition. The defensive MSME must be able to monitor their business and maximize resources, especially information sources efficiently. Substancy differences found in MSMEs and large companies, namely, limited human resources and internal information competition (IT) and financial resources in MSMEs. MSMEs depend on external expertise when dealing with IT problems because of the limitations of human resources and employee training costs. Business Intelligence (BI) is a general term for decision support systems that are used to collect, analyze, and disseminate organizational data to increase business decision making. BI's ability is very necessary to consolidate and analyze. Providing access to data in certain ways that it allows companies to make better business decisions.
