Wednesday, June 2, 2021, the LPPM Team ITB visited the village of science in the framework of developing the ITB MBKM program. This visit was attended by Deny Willy Junaidy (Secretary of the LPPM Community Service Department), Muhammad Ihsan (Public Relations Team of the MBKM & Nbsp Program; ITB), Banung Grahita (Kaprodi S1 ​​DKV & Nbsp; FSRD ITB), Ima Mulyama (Coordinator of MBKM Sith ITB), Ferdyansyah Poernama (Head of Pengmasan and KKN LPPM ITB), and Rusmini Hakim (Principal of SMK 1 & Nbsp; Sei Rotating, Kab. Nunukan, North Kalimantan), as well as several student teams from Sappk, FMIPA, and FTSL. & Nbsp;

ITB LPPM team coordinates with Imam B Prasodjo (UI Sociologist) as the founder and drive of the science village along with the volunteer team. Kampung Science is a community-based educational environment built in mutual cooperation with the aim of integrating formal and non-formal education. The driving force of the science is initiated by practitioners and academics with the mission of building independent human resources, integrity, capacity, creative, innovative, and able to work together for a better change of life.

Kampung Science is the center of activities from the science garden, home science, healthy saung, inspiring house, and cilele garden. The science village is designed as a business training location (Livelihood) of Agriculture, Livestock, and Fisheries.

In order to design the ITB MBKM program with the science village, the LPPM ITB team will plan teaching assistance programs from students and community service for ITB lecturers in the science village on a 4.7 hectare land with various adequate training facilities.
